The Friends of Waterloo Seafront Gardens (FoWSG) will hold their annual Autumn Fete tomorrow, Saturday 19th September, offering a full afternoon of family activities in support of the local community and environment.

Running from 12pm to 4pm at Marine Garden, the event is completely free to enter.

Organised by local volunteer residents, the community group works to restore and promote Waterloo’s seafront gardens and Potter’s Barn Park.

Attractions & Activities

Visitors to the fete can enjoy a variety of stalls and entertainment throughout the afternoon, including:

  • Family Entertainment: Children’s games, a bouncy castle, donkey rides, and live music.
  • Stalls & Tombolas: A teddy tombola, plant stall, book stall, raffle, and community stalls.
  • Refreshments: Food and drink available on site.

Location & Access

Marine Garden is one of four public seafront gardens in the Waterloo conservation area, situated alongside Crescent Garden, Adelaide Garden, and Beach Lawn. Located a short walk from Crosby Marine Lake, the beach, and Antony Gormley’s Another Place statues, the site is easily accessible by road, rail, and bus, situated just 15 minutes by train from Liverpool city centre.
