Monday 22 June: Digital Drop-In (Monday IT Support)

Friendly library staff and digital volunteers host this handy helpdesk every Monday to assist with any technology questions you might have. Whether you need patient guidance navigating a new smartphone, setting up an email account, learning how to use a tablet, or filling out online forms, you can bring your device to the library for free support.
Tuesday 23 June: Keep Rimrose Tidy – The Midweek Litter Pick!
- When: Tuesday 23 June 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
- Where: Rimrose Valley Country Park (The exact meeting location inside the park is sent directly to you once you register, as they target a different “grot spot” section each month).
- Cost: Free
- Booking: Strictly required via Eventbrite here.
Important Weather Note: If the June weather gets bad, they will cancel the session. If you have registered a spot via Eventbrite, the organisers will email you directly on Tuesday morning to let you know. Alternatively, they post live updates on their official Facebook page.
Wednesday 24 June: The Writer’s Bloc Creative Writing Group

Spend your mid-week morning tapping into your creative side at Bootle Library. This community-facilitated workshop gathers fortnightly to provide a warm, encouraging environment for adult writers of all levels. Whether you are working on poetry, short stories, a personal memoir, or just looking to try some free-writing exercises to prompt new ideas, you can join the group for a chat and a brew.
Thursday 25 June: “Bright Side of Life” Exhibition
There’s still time to see a brand new exhibition by the Holmeswood Art Group at the ArtHouse Gallery. Named “The Bright Side of Life,” the collection features various styles and media centred around the theme of capturing small, everyday moments of joy.

Friday 26 June: Rainbow Network Book Club
- Where: Crosby Library, Crosby Road North, Waterloo

- Cost: Free (Everyone welcome)
Close out the working week by joining an inclusive community space hosted in partnership with Sefton Council’s Rainbow Network. The book club is gathering on Friday afternoon at Crosby Library to discuss Pride by Tim Tate, which explores the real-life oral histories and lived experiences behind the 1984 miner solidarity movement.
