A Sefton organisation dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families is inviting local residents to join in the fun at their upcoming Summer Fair Fundraiser, with all profits helping to run their vital SEND Youth Club.
And, looking at the weather forecast, the fact that it’s an indoor summer fair sounds ideal! Taking place tomorrow at The Netherton Activity Centre (NAC) 12-3pm, you can enjoy all the fun of the fair without getting wet.
Life’s for Living, a community-focused organisation based right here in Sefton, works to assist individuals and families affected by ADHD, Autism, SEND, and other neurodiverse or mental health conditions. Operating across Sefton and the wider Merseyside area, the group aims to change lives by raising awareness and creating a better local understanding of invisible disabilities.

- Why: To raise money for the local SEND Youth Club
- Please note: Bring cash, as several stalls cannot take card payments on the day.
What’s On at the Fair
The afternoon brings together plenty of activities, local stalls, and family entertainment:
- For Kids & Families: Bouncy castle, face painting, arts & crafts, music, and balloons.
- Stalls & Shopping: Books, preloved items, personalised gifts, jewellery, MDF items, homeware, hair accessories, 3D prints, and sensory toys.
- Food & Drinks: Baked treats, sweets, and a £1 bargain rail.
- Extras: Psychic readings (£25 for 30 mins), a tombola with prizes, and a raffle.
The money made on the day goes directly to funding the SEND Youth Club so local young people have a safe space to meet up.
Support Services Available
Alongside running events, Life’s for Living supports parents and adults across Merseyside:
- Parent Groups: Meet-ups for parents of children with ADHD, Autism, or neurodiverse conditions.
- Self-Management Sessions: Courses for adults with ADHD or Autism focused on everyday coping skills.
- Awareness Workshops: Training for parents, adults, and local professionals about invisible disabilities.
They run sessions out of two main venues:
- Netherton Family Hub: Magdalen Square, Netherton, L30 5QH
- St. Paul’s Church Hall: Sonning Avenue, Litherland, L21 9JZ
