As the dust settles on an incredibly busy (and warm) start to the month, Southport is gearing up for one of the most important local charity events of the year. On Friday 24th July, The Grand hosts a spectacular multi-floor fundraising evening to support the vital work of Queenscourt Hospice.
The historic venue is pulling out all the stops for A Grand Night Out for Queenscourt. With the charity recently highlighting the urgent need for local funding to keep its essential palliative care services running smoothly, our town’s independent businesses and residents are stepping up to make a real difference.
Starting at 7:00 PM, the party will take over all three floors of the beautifully restored building. Organisers have put together a stellar line-up of entertainment, with X Factor and Dancing on Ice star Ray Quinn headlining the night. He will be joined on stage by a fantastic mix of talent, including fellow X Factor vocalist Anthony Russell, Britain’s Got Talent favourite Andrew Curphey, and well-known local radio hosts Kelly Bond, Claire Simmo, and DJ Baz Todd.
Liverpool DJ legend Jon Jessop is also set to keep the dance floors moving late into the evening, with plenty more live performers and DJs due to be announced as the weekend approaches.
Tickets are priced at £25 per person, with every single penny from ticket sales going directly into the Keep Queenscourt in Service campaign. It is the perfect opportunity to grab your friends, dress to impress, and enjoy a top-tier night out right here in the heart of Sefton while supporting a cause that means so much to so many local families.
Spaces are filling up fast for this one. If you want to secure your spot for a brilliant evening of live music, entertainment, and community solidarity, head over to the official events page at thegrand.co.uk to book your tickets today.
