The Imagine Formby Yarn Bombers will once again be celebrating International Yarn Bombing day with a display in Formby Village on Saturday 14 June.
They have been busy knitting and crocheting various fun elements since August last year – including St George and the dragon, a teddy bears picnic and Pokemon garden to name just a few.
The group will be in the village at 4am, putting the displays out and setting up stalls selling lots of handmade items (the money from which goes towards the next year’s displays!). All displays will be taken down around 5pm.
Imagine Formby is a volunteer-led Community Interest Company (CIC) set up to make Formby a more environmentally friendly, exciting, healthy and happy place to live, work and visit.
