Lynn and Cath first opened The Queens Nook, Crosby, in December 2021 with the aim of creating a community venue – supporting locals and the wider areas.
After discovering the Sunday Supper Project on social media, who provide food, hot drinks and support to vulnerable and homeless people in Liverpool City Centre, they decided to rally their customers to help.
They are now supporting the project on a monthly basis and have been inundated with donations.
Lynn, co-owner of The Queens Nook, said: “We want to give back as much as we can, as anyone could fall into this position in life. Empathy and compassion should be given to everyone, always.”
If you would like to get involved they are also looking for help providing warm clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags etc.
