The Friends of Waterloo Gardens (FOWG) is a community group of volunteers who are dedicated to restoring and promoting the local seafront gardens and Potter’s Barn Park in Waterloo.
The gardens sit in a conservation area, a 10 minute walk from Waterloo Station.
There are four distinctive public gardens to enjoy along the seafront: Marine Garden, Crescent Garden, Adelaide Garden and Beach Lawn.
The FOWG has made a significant contribution to the improvement of the Waterloo gardens and this year they have done amazing work restoring the Beach Lawn Gardens. The group’s work has helped to transform the gardens into a beautiful and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy. For a detailed history of the gardens visit fowsg.co.uk
